Lorenzo Valiente

Partner

Lorenzo Valiente is a Partner at Forza Energy and has been in the New York Oil & Energy industry since 2011. He has a distinguished background in the sector, having formerly served as the SVP of Sales & Operations at Northeastern Energy, where he was instrumental in expanding the company’s salesforce, diversifying revenue streams, improving logistics management, commodity trade & supply and driving overall growth.

Prior to his role at Northeastern Energy, Lorenzo made significant contributions at Petro (Commercial Services), where he developed and expanded their Oil to Gas Conversion Department. Past responsibilities included overseeing Sales & Operations, Commercial Installation Projects, and Staff Management. Lorenzo also managed and grew numerous Oil & Energy portfolios for United Metro Energy during the HESS Oil acquisition.

Stephen Chen

Partner

Stephen Chen is a Partner at Forza Energy. He is also a shareholder of a Southeast Asia based commodity company and the Chairman of the Board for PHUNware (Nasdaq: PHUN). PHUNware provides wayfinding technologies for property managers & hospitality clients nationwide with clients including the Marriott, Hilton, and the Atlantis Hotel (Bahamas). He was a Partner at Kent Moore Capital, an asset management firm whose holdings included a litigation funding firm called Anchor Funding was later exited to Xperity Ventures in 2021 and BioIntegrate, a regenerative medicine business.

Stephen served as a fractional CFO for Burkland Associates, the leading fractional CFO firm in Silicon Valley. He continues to provide these services to firms like Founders First, the White House implementation partner for its $10 billion SIBC grant program in the minority-owned division. Stephen has been educated at New York University and Brown University.
